Publishing Permissions
Publishing permissions determine who can make AI capabilities available to business users through the Service Catalog.
By default, newly created Agents and AI Flows remain private and are accessible only to authorized administrators and developers within the workspace.
Who Can Publish?
Section titled “Who Can Publish?”Only users with publishing permissions can publish or unpublish resources.

Publishable Resources
Section titled “Publishable Resources”The following resources can be published to the Service Catalog:
- AI Agents
- AI Flows
Other platform resources such as Models, Skills, MCP Servers, Knowledge Bases, and Vector Databases are intended for development and administration and cannot be published directly.
Publishing a Resource
Section titled “Publishing a Resource”Publishing an Agent or AI Flow is simple.
- Navigate to the Agents or AI Flows page.
- Locate the resource you want to publish.
- Enable the Published toggle from the list view.
Once published, the resource becomes available in the Service Catalog for users with the appropriate permissions.
Unpublishing a Resource
Section titled “Unpublishing a Resource”To remove a resource from the Service Catalog:
- Navigate to the resource.
- Disable the Published toggle.
The resource is immediately removed from the Service Catalog but remains available for further development and management.
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”When publishing AI capabilities:
- Publish only production-ready Agents and AI Flows.
- Validate workflows before making them available to users.
- Organize published resources into appropriate Service Catalog categories.
- Review published resources regularly to ensure they remain accurate and relevant.
- Unpublish outdated or deprecated services when they are no longer needed.
